The story of Big Farm: Mobile Harvest revolves around a young farmer, uncle Ben, and his attempts to fulfill his destiny of starting a farming business. Ben grows vegetables on an overgrown farm and his Uncle Charlie makes money by selling subsidized agricultural merchandise.
Uncle Charlie also becomes quite adept at breeding animals, but he discovers that his business requires more capital than he has. When one of his friends becomes ill, Ben immediately takes an interest in providing financial assistance, even though his heart belongs to his girlfriend. This causes tension between him and his uncle, but Auntie Audrey always encourages him to return to his real job: farming.
Throughout the game, you will travel across the countryside, visiting various places, plowing your own fields, harvesting crops, renovating buildings, etc. You will encounter a wide variety of characters along your journey: settlers, barn owners, general contractors, bankers, stock traders, etc. Your objective is to complete the different tasks on each map, earning money, gaining experience points (miners), and ultimately plowing the land and producing crops for consumption and sale.
Harvest crops
Although Ben starts out farming only a small plot of land, he quickly learns that bigger goals await him. As your business grows, Ben learns that animals can also be sent to different feeding facilities. Now, instead of feeding the cows and pigs on his land, Ben must find and feed and care for them in these facilities. This becomes even more complicated when Uncle Oscar, a well-meaning but absentee landlord, begins refusing to give Ben access to his own property.
Soon enough, though, Ben realizes that he has to find a way to take care of animals while maintaining an old farm. To do so, he hires several people, including a Chinese girl who knows how to care for animals better than Ben does and a Native American blacksmith who makes tools that help Ben and his workers harvest more money. In addition to animals, you’ll need to buy, construct, and furnish storage facilities as well as various farming equipment to make your business a success. Throughout the game you will also meet various people, each offering advice and tips to assist you in achieving your goals.
